We used a compass on a long walk exploring the countryside, went river dipping and used an identification key to discover examples of life we found, learnt about the fire triangle and fire safety during our campfire, toasted s'mores, designed bark boats for seed dispersal along the riverside and so much more! The highlight was drinking the spring water directly from the spring!

We had an amazing time learning about healthy lifestyle choices with Steel. He spoke about the benefits of eating healthy foods, drinking water and having a positive mindset. He taught us some ways to calm ourselves if we are anxious. He spent time with each class and nursery to answer questions and give advice. Thank you to our fabulous 3LX Friends group who funded this amazing learning experience. Great memories were made today!
