We are fortunate at Three Legged Cross First School & Nursery to have an active PTA known as the Friends of Three Legged Cross. The 'Friends' have raised thousands of pounds over the years, which has been spent on equipment, resources and outings to enhance our children's education experience and the school's facilities.

All parents and members of the school community are encouraged to get involved, even if you only have a small amount of time available. All families are automatically members once your child joins our school.

Some example of fundraising events this year have been our popular Christmas fayre and wreath-making workshop, sponsored colour run, summer fayre and penny wars. The Friends also run a regular tuck shop on the final Friday of each month at the school gate at the end of the day.

Funds raised have been used to install a trim trail and musical instruments on the playground, develop our pond area, take all school children to the pantomime, buy balance bikes and outdoor learning equipment for Early Years and to fund a Year 4 leavers challenge trip. 

They also have second-hand uniform for sale.

The Friends meet on a regular basis, usually once or twice per term, to plan and discuss fundraising ideas and events.
